We are recruiting for a passionate, hard working, friendly and organised librarian to work in our Junior School library. The role of the librarian is to support and enhance a love of reading among all Junior children. Duties will include, but are not limited to, planning and delivering library skills and activities to children at an age-appropriate level; maintaining high quality displays within the library reflecting all aspects of the curriculum and wider school events; organising displays and actively promoting a love of reading through activities and events. Also integral to the role are positive team working, professionalism and the highest level of confidentiality.
Start Date: 20 August 2025
Location: Saar
Hours: 07:15-14:25, Sunday-Thursday
Contract Type: Local Hire, term time only, no benefits
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Excellent computer proficiency skills.
- A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
- Excellent English - both spoken and written.
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to adults and children.
