Position: Head of Geography
Location: On site, Westbury-on-Trym BS9 3BA
Hours: The post will involve teaching between 0.8 and a full timetable
Start date: 1 September 2026

The start date for the post is 1 September; however, we would consider a January start for the right candidate.
We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Head of Geography to lead the department at Badminton.
Main responsibilities include:
• To have overall responsibility for leading and managing Geography
• Ensure Geography is taught in an interesting and challenging manner, enabling each pupil to realise her potential
• Contribute to the teaching of the department as set out in the timetable
• Develop appropriate specifications, materials and schemes of work
• Represent the department in all matters within the school related to the curriculum within Head of Department and full staff meetings

• Good degree or equivalent qualification
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Experience of working with young people
• The ability to enthuse, lead and manage a team
