St John's School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and forward-looking Teacher of AI and Digital Futures to help shape and deliver an exciting new area of the curriculum.
This is a unique opportunity to develop a programme that prepares pupils for life in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, digital media, data and emerging technologies. The successful candidate will help pupils to understand the digital world around them, use technology confidently and creatively, and engage with it safely, critically and responsibly.
Prior teaching experience is not essential and we would welcome applications for candidates with experience in other industries or teachers with a passion in this area. Training and support can be provided for candidates entering the profession from other sectors.
The ability to teach Computer Science would be desirable but not necessary. Candidates who can offer teaching in other subjects and candidates from outside of education are encouraged to apply.
