We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and motivated Dance Instructor to support the delivery and development of the SPARTA Dance programme on a maternity cover basis.
The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of dance education and performance and will work closely with the SPARTA Dance team to deliver high-quality dance provision across a range of ages, abilities and styles, including the SPARTA Dance programme and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus where appropriate.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about dance, committed to developing students' technical skills, creativity, confidence and performance, and able to create a positive, motivating and inclusive environment in which students can develop and thrive.
The role will also involve supporting choreography, rehearsals and performances across the School, as well as preparing eligible students for RAD examinations and contributing to the wider development of dance opportunities through the SPARTA Academy.

Location: Saar and Al Raffa Campus
Hours: Hours to be discussed at interview
Contract Type: Local hire, non term-time only position. Vacation will be to suit workload with a generous leave allowance.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Proven experience working as a Dance Teacher, Dance Instructor or Dance Coach.
A recognised dance teaching qualification and/or appropriate professional dance training.
Experience delivering dance instruction to children and young people across a range of ages and abilities.
Knowledge and experience across a range of dance styles and techniques.
Experience with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and/or preparing students for RAD examinations is highly desirable.
Experience choreographing and preparing students for performances, productions and showcases is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate positively and professionally to adults and children.
A commitment to high standards of professionalism, health and safety and participant care.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
A flexible, enthusiastic and positive approach, with a willingness to contribute to the continued development of the SPARTA Dance programme.
A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
